Construction documents are created by design professionals and utilized by contractors to construct the building and achieve the design intent. Contractors in turn rely upon manufacturer representatives to provide products in compliance with the drawings and specifications. Inconsistencies or discrepancies with documents can lead to misinterpretations, underperforming buildings and additional costs. After reviewing examples of inconsistencies and their impacts to performance and cost, the course attendees will better understand the importance of correct and specific documents. During the course, discussion will be encouraged among the attendees. The sharing of perspectives and challenges faced by different parties will be better understood after attending this course.
