Powered Aire – Chameleon Air Curtain

Powered Aire – Chameleon Air Curtain

The 2015 edition of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) permits air curtains as an exception to the vestibule rule (C402.4.7). To eliminate the concern of engineers and architects about using a historically loud, bulky air curtain above an entry way, the engineers at Powered Aire created the Chameleon. Just like the reptile, this revolutionary model of air curtain is designed to blend in. Unlike the air curtains typically found above loading docks or vehicle entrances, the Chameleon has these unique features:

  • Flush-mounted for an appealing entry spaceChameleon air door
  • Quiet performance due to unique plenum
  • No ducting required
  • Hinged grille makes for easy maintenance
  • Available with or without electric/hot water/steam heat
