Air Control Products was founded in 1975 with a simple vision: to connect engineers, contractors, and owners with HVAC and architectural solutions they can trust. From the beginning, ACP has built its reputation on lasting relationships—representing leading manufacturers while always putting customers first.

For nearly five decades, we’ve grown alongside our partners, expanding our capabilities and influence while staying true to our core values: integrity, innovation, and commitment to being the solution every time.

Building Trust, One Project at a Time Since 1975

1975

Air Control Products founded by Bob Greene & Randy Heminger.

1976

Pioneered HVAC warehouse stocking program.

1978

Bob Greene becomes sole owner; relocated to North Royalton.

1982

Began representing Greenheck; moved to Broadview Heights.

1983

Expanded territory into Northwest Ohio (Toledo).

1987

ACP expands into the Columbus market.

1990

Stocking program drives growth; Broadview Heights expansion.

1996

Launched Architectural Division; Mike Greene named VP.

1998–2000

Built and moved into a new 38,000 sq. ft. HQ on Towpath Road.

2001

Began partnership with Price Industries.

2002–2004

Purchased Columbus and Toledo facilities.

2005

Mike Greene becomes owner of ACP.

2014

Acquired Air Systems Diversified (ASD).

2015

Celebrated 40 years in business.

2017

Hosted the largest Innovation Expo to date.

2019

HQ renovation; established Marketing Department.

2021

Innovation Expo expands to Columbus and Cleveland.

2022

Named Top Workplace by Cleveland Plain Dealer

2023

Recognized with Weatherhead 100 Award.

2024

Opened a new Toledo facility in Perrysburg.
