Our intern Mercedes Shultz, has become the most recent recipient of the Geis extended family scholarship this year.

Air Control Products would like to congratulate Mercedes Shultz on being the recipient of the Geis extended family scholarship this year. The Geis Extended Family Scholarship via the Akron Foundation was established by the Geis family to provide scholarships to children of Geis Companies’ employees, vendors, and subcontractors. http://geisfoundation.org/scholarships/ . The Erwin & Katherine Geis Charitable Foundation was established in 2001 and is supported by employees of Geis Companies and members of the Geis family as they honor the legacy of the company’s founders. Thank you Geis Companies for extending this opportunity to Air Control Products employees and families.

Mercedes internship began in April at our Columbus office. Mercy was involved in all aspects of the mechanical side of our business. She graduated with honors from Westland HS this past summer. While there, she was busy with studying, coordinating several of her HS academic/social clubs (National Honor Society President, Key Club, student council) and amazingly earned her associates degree of science from Columbus State. This fall Mercy will be entering her freshman year at The Ohio State University with junior status! She will be working her way into The College of Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer. Mercy we know you have a bright future in our industry. Thank you for all you have done for us, and again congratulations, you deserve it.

Air Control Products offers multiple paid internships through the year.  ACP  internships are focused on multiple disciplines in the HVAC, Engineering and Mechanical Construction fields. Are you looking for an internship, or know someone who may be interested, contact us.
