The Richland Mall opened in 1969 with the Lazarus department store as one of its main tenants. In 2013, Avita Health System purchased the former Lazarus store. This began the process of transforming the department store into a state of the art hospital. In partnering with Guenther Mechanical Inc., Air Control Products provided products by Greenheck, Metal-Fab Inc., Price Industries, and Linx Industries. Greenheck provided general and fume exhaust fans, fire dampers, and louvers. Metal-Fab provided the flue piping. Price Industries provided air distribution, sound plenums, and HORD operating room systems. Linx provided the spiral ductwork.
