When Point One Design began planning the new construction of Honda of Middleburg—a full-service car dealership and large service department—they turned to Air Control Products for HVAC and exhaust solutions. ACP’s long-standing partnership with Point One Design has helped bring a wide range of building types to life, and this project was no exception.
The service department was designed as a fully conditioned space, enhancing comfort for service technicians and staff. To achieve this, ACP collaborated closely with Greenheck to create a custom pressure control system for four makeup air units.
To reduce the number of vehicle exhaust hose drops while maintaining flexibility and indoor air quality, ACP implemented Monoxivent’s Technorail Hose Reel System. This setup allowed reels to be repositioned along a continuous track, cutting the total number of reels and hose drops by at least half—without sacrificing performance or safety.
The result was a high-performance, efficient, and flexible service environment that met every design objective. The coordinated control and exhaust system ensures comfort, safety, and long-term reliability for Honda’s technicians and staff.
