Air Control Products is proud to offer AIRSTAGE VRF from GENERAL (formerly Fujitsu General): a commercial variable refrigerant flow platform backed by more than 50 years of HVAC engineering leadership and trusted by contractors, engineers, and building owners worldwide.
Buildings aren’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are the people inside them. VRF technology heats and cools each zone independently, so occupants set their own temperature in their own space which means no more thermostat wars, no more conditioning empty rooms.
AIRSTAGE takes that further with DC inverter compressor technology that continuously adjusts output to match real-time load, dramatically cutting energy waste compared to conventional systems.
One of the most exciting pieces of the AIRSTAGE platform is AIRSTAGE Cloud — a cloud-based virtual building management system. It delivers the monitoring, configuration, and control of a traditional BMS at a fraction of the cost and install time. Commissioning that used to take weeks now wraps up in days.
From small single-phase systems to large heat recovery installations, the AIRSTAGE lineup scales to buildings of virtually any size or type — offices, schools, multifamily, mixed-use, and more. Installation-friendly features like automatic address setting and front-panel access mean faster, more flexible installs, even in tight spaces.
The lineup includes:
AIRSTAGE J7 — 3–5 tons, single-phase heat pump with enhanced static pressure capabilities
AIRSTAGE VU-7 — 6–32 tons, 3-phase, available as heat pump or heat recovery, for larger commercial projects
Commercial HVAC is moving toward systems that are more efficient, easier to manage, and better matched to how buildings are actually used. AIRSTAGE VRF reflects that shift with zone-level control, load-matching efficiency, and building management that lives in the cloud instead of a mechanical room.
