Last month, Air Control Products brought 30+ partners to the Price Technical Center West in Casa Grande, Arizona for a few days of immersive product training, real-world application conversations, and time outside the office. Contractors and engineers from Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo shared the same lab, plant floor, and breakout rooms – going a level deeper than any Teams call can replicate.
There’s no substitute for hands-on time with the equipment and the people who design and build it. Working sessions at PTCW gave the group focused exposure across the Price portfolio, including:
The plant tour gave the group an unfiltered look at how Price products actually get built, including diffusers, dampers, and critical environment components moving through the line in real time. Watching the build quality up close gives a different kind of confidence in what you’re specifying and installing.
The product sessions themselves were where the trip really landed. Each one, from VAV design to noise control to the Ultra Suite OR mock-up, sparked the kind of candid, back-and-forth conversation you rarely get in a formal setting. Several sessions also gave the group hands on the equipment, walking through installation steps and the nuances that don’t show up in any manual.
It wasn’t all presentations and breakouts. One afternoon, the group split — some headed to Ocotillo Golf Club for tee times, while others opted for UTV tours through the Arizona desert. Dinners and downtime gave everyone room to keep conversations going past the agenda.
To everyone who joined us – thank you for the time and the engagement. And to Price Industries, thank you for the gracious hospitality once again. The PTCW team makes these visits genuinely worth the flight, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
